Measure 21 'Exceptional temporary support'
Prima Foods AD received financial support under Measure 21 'Exceptional temporary support to farmers and SMEs particularly affected by the crisis triggered by COVID-19' of the Rural Development Programme for the 2014-2020 period. The non-refundable financial aid assisted the enterprise by covering part of the obligations that arose during the COVID-19 crisis and due to the drop in net sales revenue. Main objectives: Guaranteeing the competitiveness of the company and ensuring the continuity of activities. The results of the targeted objectives are evident, and the company successfully continued to operate without imposing actions to reduce workflows and employees.

Reconstruction, modernization and introduction of RES in a meat-processing enterprise
The project's goal is to increase competitiveness through investment in the construction of a new facility, building autonomous RES (Renewable Energy Sources) for internal needs, and purchasing automated equipment. Results include increased production capacity, decreased energy consumption from the national grid, increased market share, and the creation of a new sustainable workplace.

Modernization of equipment and introduction of RES in a meat-processing enterprise
The project's goal is to improve environmental protection, introduce new technologies, and enhance food quality and safety. Results cover the automation and digitalization of production, elevated product quality, and improved working conditions.

Targeted intake for investments and activities ensuring environmental protection, including RES
The project aims to improve the overall operations and energy efficiency of the enterprise by installing Local Storage Facilities (batteries) for the energy produced from the existing RES. The implementation will achieve a significant environmental effect by reducing harmful emissions.
